Role Description
The Procurement Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Seattle, WA, responsible for managing sourcing and purchasing activities to support HummingBird’s operational and technology needs.



This role involves evaluating and qualifying suppliers, preparing and issuing Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and negotiating terms to ensure cost-effective and reliable supply. The Procurement Engineer will create and manage purchase orders, monitor delivery schedules, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement decisions with technical and business requirements. Daily responsibilities include analyzing spend and supplier performance data, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and maintaining accurate documentation and systems records. The role also includes supporting risk management efforts, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and building strong, transparent relationships with external partners.
