Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and innovative Development Deputy Manager to join our engineering team. This role involves designing, developing, and improving products from concept to production. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and a passion for developing high-quality, user-focused products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or support the design and development of current products and enhancements to existing products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product development , marketing, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
- Conduct feasibility studies, material selection, prototyping, testing, and validation of product designs.
- Create and maintain design documentation such as CAD models, drawings, specifications, and bill of materials (BOM).
- Participate in design reviews and implement feedback to improve product performance and manufacturability.
- Analyse test data, identify root causes of issues, and propose design or process improvements.
- Stay current on industry trends,



technologies, and best practices.
- Ensure products meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in product development or related engineering roles.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with prototyping, testing methods, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with automotive specific regulatory standards
- Knowledge of materials science, manufacturing processes, and cost optimization.

Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping tools (e.g., 3D printing).
