Responsibilities:

The primary focus of the role is data masking and data protection:

Data masking of non-production environments

Protection of PII and sensitive information

Configuration and execution of Delphix masking solutions

Supporting project teams throughout sprint cycles

The team regularly performs:

Environment refreshes

Data masking activities

Data protection support between project releases and sprint milestones

Delphix Expertise (not flexible to other tools, needs to be Delphix):

Candidates should have deep experience with:

Delphix Engine administration

Delphix configuration

Data masking design and implementation

Masking rule development

Execution and monitoring of masking processes

The client specifically needs someone who can:

Gather masking requirements

Design masking solutions

Configure Delphix accordingly

Execute and support masking operations

Identification of PII data

Data masking methodologies

Data protection best practices

Basic to intermediate Linux administration skills

Encryption knowledge (additional requirements still being confirmed)

Team Structure & Interaction

The Data Protection Engineer will:

Work closely with the DBA team

Support data warehouse projects

Participate in Agile project activities

Assist project teams with masking requirements

Support non-production environment management
