The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing customer projects from order receipt through production and final dispatch. The role involves close coordination with customers, design, production, quality, machining, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure projects are completed within the committed timeline, quality standards, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute new and ongoing customer projects.
- Coordinate with customers to understand technical specifications and project requirements.
- Review engineering drawings, technical documents, and customer specifications.
- Prepare project schedules and monitor progress against agreed timelines.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Foundry, Machine Shop, Quality, and Dispatch departments for timely execution.
- Monitor manufacturing progress and resolve production-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with customer quality requirements and applicable international standards.
- Track project milestones and submit regular status reports to management.




- Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of raw materials, patterns, tooling, and outsourced services.
- Participate in customer meetings, technical discussions, inspections, and audits.
- Ensure successful First Article Inspection (FAI), trial production, and production approvals wherever applicable.
- Identify project risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain project documentation, records, and engineering change history.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and delivery performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies.

Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
- Project Management certification will be an added advantage.

Required Skills:
- Knowledge of steel casting and machining processes.
