JOB DESCRIPTION:
- A client in Pune, India is looking for a QA Tester III.
- This person will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, Java, TypeScript, and TestNG.
- They will be responsible for executing functional, regression, integration, and non-functional testing throughout the QA lifecycle.
- They will also be analyzing requirements and user stories to create comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance validation.
- In addition, they will lead QA activities within Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, refinement, estimation, and continuous improvement.
- They will participate in UAT and support Product Owners in validating business workflows and acceptance criteria.
- They will also be performing database validation using MSSQL Server and MySQL.
- Lastly, they will be identifying, documenting,



and tracking defects; collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 7+ years of QA experience with the combination of Functional and Automation testing.
- In-depth understanding of the various testing concepts (e.g. Functional, Usability, Availability, Performance).
- Proficiency in Database query knowledge. Strong background in SDLC and Agile (Scrum) software development methodology.
- Experience with different kinds of testing included but not limited to Functional, System, End-to-End, Sanity, Regression, Build Verification, System Integration etc.
- End to end functional automation using up-to-date tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress etc.
- In-depth understanding of API testing including API automation.
- Languages proficiency - TypeScript/JavaScript (Primary), Java (Secondary), C#.
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, Git Actions etc.).
