Role & responsibilities
- Inspect and test incoming/outgoing raw materials/finished goods as per approved specifications.
- Perform quality checks on in-process and finished PVC stabilizer batches.
- Verify formulation accuracy and batch consistency before dispatch.
- Conduct routine laboratory tests including:
- Appearance
- Moisture
- Bulk density
- Particle size
- Ash content (where applicable)
- Thermal stability
- Lubrication performance
- Fusion characteristics
- Compatibility with PVC compounds
- Prepare PVC test compounds and evaluate processing performance on lab equipment.
- Maintain batch records, COAs, test reports, and laboratory documentation.
- Investigate quality deviations and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments.
- Coordinate with Production, R&D;, and Procurement to ensure product quality.
- Ensure compliance with ISO systems, safety standards, and Valuable Laboratory Practices (GLP).:
- 2 to 5 years of Experience in PVC stabilizers, additives, or polymer compounding.
- Knowledge of Calcium-Zinc, Lead, and One-Pack stabilizer systems is preferred.
