Role Description
The Java Specialist at Paris Vexin Business Club (95-78) will design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications that support the club’s digital services. This part-time remote role involves implementing robust back-end solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to refine requirements, and translating business needs into scalable technical designs. Day-to-day tasks include building and optimizing microservices, integrating Jakarta EE components, applying design patterns to improve code quality, and ensuring adherence to best practices in software development. The Java Specialist will also participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and document technical solutions to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements.

Qualifications
- Robust foundation in Software Development and Programming, with hands-on experience in Java.




- Practical experience with Jakarta EE for building and maintaining enterprise-level applications.
- Ability to design, implement, and maintain Microservices-based architectures.
- Applied knowledge of Design Patterns to produce maintainable, scalable, and testable code.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, relational databases, and version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Experience with build and dependency management tools (e.g., Maven or Gradle) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a remote, part-time environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
- Experience in community-focused, small business, or club environments is an advantage.
