What you’ll be doing :
- Administer, manage, and maintain Linux/Unix servers, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to operating systems, hardware, and software across Windows and Linux/Unix platforms.
- Handle infrastructure-related incidents and server migrations providing timely support and resolution for managed issues.
- Perform routine system checks, updates, and patch management to ensure security and system integrity.
- Utilize basic SQL skills to interact with databases, support queries, and assist with database management tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance, troubleshoot problems, and implement best practices.
- Maintain and document detailed logs of system configurations, changes, and issues for future reference.
- Ensure disaster recovery procedures are implemented and tested regularly to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the automation of routine tasks and the improvement of system processes.
- Provide support during off-hours for critical incidents,
ensuring minimal disruption to operations
What you’ll likely bring :
- Graduation degree
- Linux/Unix Administration: 2+ Experience managing and troubleshooting Linux/UNIX based systems (RHEL).
- SQL Knowledge: Basic understanding of SQL queries and database operations.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve infrastructure related issues efficiently.
- System Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Experience in monitoring system performance, analyzing logs, and optimizing system resources.
- Security Awareness: Knowledge of security best practices for both Windows and Linux systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with teams and document processes .
