Role & responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements.
- Analyze financial data and prepare accurate and timely financial statements
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process within the accounting department
- Review and approve journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and controls
- Accounting of Factory Inventory (raw material, work-in-progress, and finished goods)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies and goals
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and variances.
Preferred candidate profile
- Proficient in Accounting software (Tally)
- Robust knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis
- Should have hands-on experience in Manufacturing set-up / environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
