Role Overview

At Octaware Technologies (A WalkingTree Group Company), we are looking for an experienced

and highly motivated Microsoft Business Applications Solution Architect / Lead with deep

expertise in Dynamics 365 CRM (Customer Engagement), Dynamics 365 ERP (Finance &

Operations and Business Central) and a positive understanding of the broader Microsoft

ecosystem, including Azure, Power Platform, Copilots, AI, Data & Analytics.

This individual will play a critical role in solutioning, pre-sales, customer workshops, proposal

development, architecture design, and delivery leadership, acting as a trusted advisor to

customers and a technical leader for project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales & Solutioning

● Lead discovery workshops and business requirement discussions with customers.

● Design end-to-end Microsoft-centric solutions spanning D365 CRM, F&O;, BC, Azure,

Copilots, and AI.

● Collaborate with sales teams on proposals, RFP/RFI responses, solution presentations,

and effort estimations.

● Conduct product demonstrations, architecture discussions,



and executive presentations.

Technical Delivery Leadership

● Act as Lead Engineer / Solution Architect during implementation programs.

● Guide functional and technical teams on solution design, integration architecture, best

practices, and governance.

● Implement complex pieces if needed.

● Review solution quality, scalability, security, and performance.

● Support customer stakeholders through implementation, UAT, and go-live.

Microsoft Platform Advisory

● Provide guidance on:

○ Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service)

○ Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

○ Dynamics 365 Business Central

○ Power Platform

○ Azure Services

○ Microsoft Copilots & Copilot Studio

○ Fabric, Power BI, and Analytics integration

● Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and low-code capabilities within

customer solutions.
