Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced OPA (Open Policy Agent) Developer to design,

develop, and implement enterprise authorization solutions using Open Policy Agent

(OPA). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with end-to-end OPA

implementations, Rego policy development, OPA SDK integrations, and authorization

modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

● Design, develop, and implement policy-based authorization solutions using Open Policy Agent (OPA).

● Develop and integrate OPA SDKs with enterprise applications and services.

● Design, write, test, and troubleshoot complex Rego policies.

● Work with OPA APIs, including:

○ Bundle API

○ Status API

○ Decision Logs API

● Develop automation and synchronization utilities using Python, PowerShell, and Unix Shell scripting.

● Translate legacy authorization models into OPA-compatible JSON structures.

● Support large-scale authorization data migration and modernization initiatives.





● Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using .NET Core.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable authorization solutions.

Required Skills

● 8+ years of software engineering experience (10+ years preferred).

● Hands-on experience working on Open Policy Agent (OPA) projects.

● Must have completed at least one end-to-end OPA implementation.

● Strong experience with OPA SDK development and integrations.

● Strong understanding of OPA architecture, administration, and APIs.

● Expertise in Rego policy development and troubleshooting.

● Experience with:

○ Python

○ PowerShell

○ Unix Shell scripting

● Experience with relational databases and large-scale data migration.

● Experience converting legacy authorization models into OPA-compatible JSON.

● Robust knowledge of:

○ .NET Core

○ REST APIs / Web Services

○ JSON

○ JWT

○ Rego
