Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced OPA (Open Policy Agent) Developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade authorization solutions using Open Policy Agent (OPA). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience delivering end-to-end OPA implementations, developing Rego policies, integrating OPA SDKs, and modernizing enterprise authorization frameworks. A robust background in .NET Core, REST APIs, JSON, JWT, and scripting is essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement policy-based authorization solutions using Open Policy Agent (OPA).
- Build and integrate OPA SDKs with enterprise applications and services.
- Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot complex Rego policies.
- Configure and work with OPA APIs, including:
- Bundle API
- Status API
- Decision Logs API
- Develop automation and synchronization utilities using Python, PowerShell, and Unix Shell scripting.




- Convert legacy authorization models into OPA-compatible JSON structures.
- Support enterprise-scale authorization data migration and modernization initiatives.
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using .NET Core.
- Collaborate with architects, security teams, and application developers to implement scalable, secure, and high-performance authorization solutions.
- Troubleshoot authorization issues and optimize policy performance across enterprise applications.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of overall software engineering experience (10+ years preferred).
- Proven hands-on experience working on Open Policy Agent (OPA) projects.
- Must have completed at least one end-to-end OPA implementation in a production environment.
- Strong experience developing and integrating OPA SDKs.
- In-depth knowledge of OPA architecture, administration, and APIs.
