Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate project cost estimates based on customer requirements, drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Standardize and maintain the costing format for all project estimations.
- Prepare detailed material, labour, machining, fabrication, electrical, and outsourced activity cost calculations.
- Review customer enquiries and prepare techno-commercial quotations within the committed timeline.
- Coordinate with the Sales team for enquiry clarification and quotation priorities.
- Coordinate with the Design team for technical inputs and drawing clarifications.
- Coordinate with the Purchase department to obtain updated material prices and vendor quotations.
- Coordinate with the Accounts department for commercial terms, taxes, duties, and costing validation.




- Maintain and update the material cost database and estimation records.
- Track quotation status and provide regular updates to management.
- Ensure all estimation documents are maintained in the EMS/document management system.
- Attend daily review meetings and sales review meetings.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities through alternate materials, processes, and vendor development.
- Maintain confidentiality of all commercial and costing information.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to estimation activities.
- Support project handover by providing finalized costing and BOQ details to the Project and Production teams.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, and documentation procedures.
- Continuously improve estimation processes to enhance accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
