Role & responsibilities
- Perform preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance of plastic injection moulds.
- Diagnose and resolve mould-related issues to minimize production downtime.
- Assemble, disassemble, repair, and recondition injection moulds.
- Inspect mould components and replace worn or damaged parts as required.
- Coordinate with the Production and Quality teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
- Maintain mould maintenance records and service history.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and upkeep of moulds.
- Suggest improvements to enhance mould performance and extend mould life.
- Follow safety standards and company maintenance procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile:
- Diploma/ITI/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die, or a related field.
- 3-8 years of experience in plastic injection mould maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with moulds for plastic containers, lids, caps, or similar products.
- Solid knowledge of mould assembly, troubleshooting, polishing, fitting, and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under production deadlines.
