Role Summary

Looking for a hands-on ServiceNow Lead Developer with deep expertise in Change & Release Management. The role involves designing, developing, and governing scalable ITSM solutions aligned to ITIL and enterprise release processes.

Core Technical Responsibilities

Lead design & development of Change and Release Management modules in ServiceNow

Develop and customize using:
- Advanced scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes)
- Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions
- Flow Designer and Workflow automation
- Change models (Normal / Standard / Emergency)
- Release lifecycle (build test deploy)

Develop integrations using:
- REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server

Implement:
- CMDB-driven change impact analysis
- Automated release pipelines and deployment strategies

Manage:
- Update sets, instance promotions, and release deployments
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, performance optimization, and platform best practices

Release & Change Engineering




- Configure and optimize end-to-end release lifecycle (build test deploy)
- Enable CAB workflows, approvals, and audit tracking
- Design rollback, risk mitigation, and deployment validation mechanisms
- Support multi-environment release coordination and parallel deployments

Required Technical Skills
- Robust hands-on in:
- ServiceNow ITSM (mandatory)
- Change Management & Release Management (must-have)
- Expertise in:
- JavaScript, Glide APIs
- Flow Designer, Service Catalog, CMDB integration
- Experience with:
- DevOps / CI-CD integrations
- Update Sets, instance upgrades, release pipelines
- Good understanding of:
- Agile / Scrum delivery model

- CIS ITSM Mandatory
- ITIL Foundation Preferred
