Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Design, develop, and modify 3D mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, or Autodesk Inventor).
- Generate manufacturing drawings, GD&T; annotations, and detailed documentation as per engineering standards.
- Develop and optimize CAM toolpaths for CNC milling, turning, and cutting operations.
- Create and simulate G-code and machining strategies to ensure precision, tool life, and material efficiency.
- Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of components.
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) or simulation for stress, deformation, and thermal properties to validate designs.
- Review and modify existing designs for continuous improvement, weight reduction, and assembly simplification.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain design databases for revision control and documentation.
- Work closely with CNC operators to troubleshoot machining issues and optimize production parameters.




- Ensure compliance with ISO, ASME, or BIS standards and contribute to DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) reviews.
