The Accounts Manager/Lead in a manufacturing company is responsible for overseeing all financial operations related to inventory management—including WIP (Work In Progress), store and stock accounting, product code and PR processes, comprehensive MIS reporting, and GST compliance. This leadership role requires solid expertise in manufacturing finance, regulatory adherence, and cross-department coordination.

1. Inventory & Stock Management
· Supervise day-to-day accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods stock.
· Ensure accurate stock ledger maintenance: record all stock receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments.
· Lead regular physical stock verification and reconciliation with accounting records.
· Oversee WIP valuation in alignment with manufacturing processes, including costing of materials, labour, and allocated overheads.
· Implement robust internal controls to minimize inventory discrepancies and losses.
· Coordinate with warehouse, production, and stores to ensure accurate material movements.
