Job Description HT/LT/EDG Operator EED

Position: HT/LT/EDG Operator – EED
Grade: 1 to 5
Experience: 1 to 5+ Years
Location: Ulundurpettai, Tamil Nadu

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain HT/LT electrical systems and Emergency Diesel Generators (EDG).
- Monitor power distribution systems and ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Maintain and service generators, electrical control circuits, motors, transformers, and high and low voltage breakers.
- Record equipment parameters, maintenance activities, and operational logs.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and electrical standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers during maintenance and breakdown activities.

Qualifications




- Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in power plant operations and maintenance is preferred.

Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment.
- Strong knowledge of generators, electrical control circuits, motors, transformers, and HT/LT systems.
- Ability to understand and follow technical manuals, drawings, and operating procedures.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Robust safety awareness and ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
