Your Opportunity
As an Edge AI Developer on BeGig, you’ll work on freelance projects focused on deploying intelligent AI capabilities directly on edge devices for real-time processing and decision-making. You’ll help organizations build fast, efficient, and scalable AI solutions that operate closer to the source of data, without the constraints of a traditional full-time role.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop
Edge AI applications and deployment pipelines
- Build and optimize AI/ML models for edge environments
- Deploy inference workloads on embedded devices, IoT hardware, and edge platforms
- Integrate computer vision, sensor data, and real-time analytics solutions
- Optimize latency, memory usage, power efficiency, and model performance
- Work with edge frameworks and hardware acceleration technologies
- Develop device-to-cloud communication and monitoring workflows
- Test, troubleshoot,
and maintain production edge deployments
- Collaborate with AI, embedded, cloud, and product teams
What We’re Looking For
- Solid experience in
Edge AI, AI deployment, or embedded AI development
- Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++
- Experience with TensorFlow Lite, ONNX, OpenVINO, TensorRT, or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with embedded systems, IoT platforms, and edge devices
- Understanding of model optimization, quantization, and inference pipelines
- Experience with computer vision, sensor integration, or real-time processing
- Knowledge of cloud-edge architecture and distributed systems
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
- A self-driven freelancer who can independently deliver Edge AI solutions
