Job Summary

The Team Leader AR Operations is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Accounts Receivable team, ensuring timely insurance follow-up, claim resolution, productivity, quality, and reduction of outstanding AR. The role involves team management, performance monitoring, escalation handling, client coordination, and process improvement.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the daily operations of the AR follow-up team.
- Allocate AR accounts and ensure proper workload distribution among team members.
- Monitor daily productivity and ensure team members achieve assigned targets.
- Review AR aging reports and prioritize high-value and aged claims.
- Ensure timely follow-up on unpaid, underpaid, and denied insurance claims.
- Review complex denials and provide appropriate action plans to the team.
- Ensure claim status, follow-up notes,



and actions are accurately documented in billing software.
- Conduct daily or weekly team meetings to review pending accounts and operational concerns.
- Monitor team quality and coordinate with the QC team to address errors.
- Identify repeated errors and provide feedback, coaching, and process training.
- Prepare and share productivity, AR, client assistance, and performance reports.
- Ensure client assistance items are followed up and resolved within the required timeline.
- Coordinate with Charge Entry, Payment Posting, Benefit Verification, and other billing teams when required.
- Respond to client concerns and provide transparent updates on outstanding AR issues.
