Job Description: Junior Data Analyst

​Job Purpose

​We are looking for a sharp, curious, and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our analytics team. In this role, you will help transform raw data into actionable business insights. You will be responsible for cleaning datasets, building automated dashboards, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to help our teams make smarter, data-driven decisions.

​Key Responsibilities​1. Data Collection & Cleaning
- ​Data Pipelines: Assist in gathering data from various internal and external sources (SQL databases, Web Analytics, CRMs, and flat files).
- ​Data Wrangling: Clean, transform, and prepare raw data for analysis, ensuring high data quality, consistency, and integrity.
- ​Database Queries:



Write and optimize basic SQL queries to extract necessary datasets for routine and ad-hoc requests.

​2. Reporting & Visualizations
- ​Dashboarding: Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards using visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
- ​Routine Reporting: Automate weekly and monthly performance reports for various departments to reduce manual overhead.
- ​Data Documentation: Help maintain the team's data dictionary, ensuring definitions and metrics are clearly documented.

​3. Insights & Analytics
- ​Trend Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis to spot emerging trends, anomalies, or shifts in user/business behavior.
- ​Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, or operations teams to understand their data requirements and explain findings in easy, non-technical terms.
