About the Role

The CASA (Current Account & Savings Account) Sales Officer is part of the banks frontline sales team responsible for acquiring new CASA customers and deepening existing relationships. The role includes driving account acquisitions, generating business from multiple customer segments, crossselling bank products, and ensuring superior customer service. This is a fieldintensive sales role requiring daily customer engagement and outdoor activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Acquisition & Business Development
- Acquire recent Current Account & Savings Account (CASA) customers through field visits, references, and cold calling.
- Identify and tap new customer segments such as salaried individuals, SMEs, traders, professionals, and corporates.
- Source and onboard highvalue customers to grow CASA balances and improve branch liability book.

2. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing CASA customers.
- Increase product penetration by crossselling products like FD/RD, insurance, debit/credit cards, mobile banking,



and investment products.
- Resolve customer queries promptly to ensure high satisfaction.

3. Sales Target Achievement
- Meet monthly and quarterly CASA acquisition and balance targets.
- Drive activation of newly sourced accounts to ensure usage of digital banking, debit card, and other services.
- Track daily performance and update sales pipelines on CRM tools.

4. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to KYC/AML guidelines.
- Follow all compliance, regulatory, and internal audit requirements.
- Maintain high standards of customer data confidentiality.

Qualifications
- Graduate (any discipline).
- Freshers or candidates with sales experience (1 to 5 years) preferred.
- Experience in banking, telecom, insurance, or financial product sales is an added advantage.
