Key Responsibilities
- Perform Operational Readiness Testing (ORT) to ensure systems are fully production-ready
- Validate monitoring, alerting, logging, and job scheduling mechanisms
- Assess system behavior during new service integrations and simulate service shutdown scenarios to ensure predictable failure handling, graceful degradation, and successful recovery
- Execute end-to-end test scenarios in production-like environments
- Verify deployment processes, rollback procedures, and support documentation
- Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, and Production Support teams
- Validate batch jobs, schedulers, and integration workflows
- Ensure incident management, recovery procedures, and failover mechanisms are thoroughly tested
- Identify, analyze, and report production risks, gaps, and failure scenarios
- Support release readiness activities and production go-live events

Required Skills




- Robust understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Hands-on experience in Operational Readiness Testing (ORT)
- Proven experience in API testing and integration validation
- Experience with database validation
- Familiarity with job schedulers (e.g., cron jobs)
- Hands-on experience with log analysis and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Kibana)
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills

Nice to have Skills
- Exposure to DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exposure in Healthcare, E-commerce, or large enterprise environments
- Familiarity with incident management tools
