We are looking for a skilled HRSG / Boiler Pressure Parts Design Engineer with solid expertise in boiler mechanical design engineering, pressure part design, and ASME code calculations.
This role involves end-to-end design and engineering of HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator) and boiler pressure parts, supporting combined cycle power plant projects. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in pressure part calculations, stress analysis, and component design, along with a solid understanding of global codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform engineering and design of HRSG / Boiler pressure parts, including steam drums, headers, and piping systems
- Execute pressure part design calculations, including code strength calculations, stress analysis, and material selection
- Develop flow circuit diagrams and pressure part layouts for pressure-retaining components
- Interpret and apply ASME / EN / IBR codes and standards in design and component selection
- Carry out basic stress analysis using engineering tools and Excel-based calculation sheets
- Define pipeline sizing and pressure equipment design for HRSG and boiler systems
- Create 2D/3D product geometry using AutoCAD / AutoPIPE based on engineering calculations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on power plant engineering projects (Combined Cycle / Thermal)
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support team development
- Contribute to product development, engineering improvements, and execution strategies
