Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced DBA to manage, optimize, and scale our Oracle database infrastructure. The system handles high transaction volumes and complex schemas, requiring deep expertise in performance tuning, RAC environments, and reliability engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Oracle databases (11g or above) in production environments
- Administer and optimize Oracle RAC clusters for high availability and scalability
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks
- Optimize SQL queries, indexes, and execution plans
- Manage database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
- Handle connection pooling and database resource management
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance
- Collaborate with backend teams to optimize queries and schema design
- Support high-concurrency workloads and large-scale applications
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c)
- Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC architecture
- Expertise in SQL tuning and performance optimization
- Solid understanding of:
- Indexing strategies
- Execution plans
- Query optimization techniques
- Experience with backup and recovery (RMAN)
- Knowledge of database monitoring and alerting tools
- Understanding of connection pooling and session management
- Experience handling high-volume transactional systems
