Role & responsibilities
- Prepare and implement annual preventive and predictive maintenance schedules ensuring 100% adherence.
- Handle shift operations, attend breakdowns promptly, and ensure minimum downtime of machines.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve MTTR & MTBF.
- Plan and manage spare parts inventory for critical equipment.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance SOPs, QMS standards, and support TPM, TQM & 5S activities.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, and vendors for smooth maintenance operations.
- Manage maintenance manpower and supervise daily work performance on shifts.
Preferred candidate profile
- Education: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 3-7 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in the Automotive or Bearing industry.
- Technical Expertise: Robust knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, CNC/PLC systems, and machine troubleshooting.
- Software Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and basic understanding of SAP.
