About the Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to build and operate scalable data pipelines powering our market data and analytics platform. You will work with real-time and historical financial data, ensuring reliable, low-latency delivery for trading and investment products.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for market and reference data.
- Process real-time and batch financial datasets including equities, indices, F&O;, and corporate actions.
- Build and optimize data models for time-series and analytical workloads.
- Ensure data quality, completeness, and freshness across pipelines.
- Integrate broker APIs, exchange feeds, and third-party market data sources.
- Contribute to monitoring, alerting, and incident resolution for data services.




- Support CI/CD workflows and containerized deployments.

Required Skills
- Strong Python and SQL programming skills.
- Experience with Airflow, Dagster, or similar orchestration tools.
- Experience with Kafka, Kinesis, or other streaming technologies.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, or similar databases.
- Working knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Familiarity with Linux environments and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of financial market concepts such as OHLC data, corporate actions, and market data feeds.

xperience with stock market or trading data / systems

Good to Have
- Experience with broker or exchange APIs such as Kite Connect or Upstox.
- Exposure to fintech, trading systems, or market data platforms.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and observability tools.
- Knowledge of financial data governance and security practices.
