We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant with robust expertise in medical device reimbursement — coding, coverage, and payment (the "3Cs") to lead development of 3Cs strategy roadmaps, CPT/HCPCS coding dossiers, and CMS payment pathway applications (NTAP, RAPID, transitional pathways, OPPS device pass-through). This is a consulting/on-demand role, where the consultant will lead project execution, interact with device and diagnostic clients, and play a key role in building internal team capability through training and guidance. Beyond closing the team's zero-coverage gap in device coding/coverage/payment, this hire also adds a second qualified resource for device medical writing and device/pharma subject knowledge — both currently resting on a single internal consultant. The ideal candidate should be able to independently assess a device's coding, coverage, and payment posture and build the evidence and application package needed to close reimbursement gaps.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of 3Cs (Coding–Coverage–Payment) strategy roadmaps,



sequencing code applications, coverage-support evidence, and payment-pathway filings against launch and access milestones
- Develop submission-ready CPT/HCPCS coding & reimbursement dossiers, including clinical evidence, utilization data, comparator coding, and economic rationale for AMA/CMS code-setting bodies
- Prepare and manage CMS payment pathway applications (NTAP, RAPID, transitional pathways, OPPS device pass-through), building the case on newness, cost, and substantial clinical improvement
- Advise on device-specific evidence roadmaps where coding, coverage, or payment gaps threaten market access
- Track and interpret CMS policy changes (including 2026 pathway changes) and translate implications into client strategy
- Engage directly with device/diagnostic clients to scope reimbursement strategy and present findings and recommendations
- Add second-resource depth for device-focused medical
