Clumsy Bumsy manufactures fresh cat food, sold directly to pet parents with no marketplace or middleman in between. What goes out of our factory is what a cat eats — there's no room for a shortcut on quality. We're mid-way through a 5x capacity expansion, which means quality checks that used to happen informally now need someone who owns them properly.

About the Role

We're hiring a Quality Control Executive to be personally accountable for the quality of everything that comes off our production line — from raw material intake to the sealed pouch. This is a hands-on, floor-based role: you'll be present through the production process, checking, testing, and flagging issues in real time, not reviewing a report after the fact.

What You'll Do

Product Quality Ownership
- Take end-to-end ownership of product quality across the manufacturing process — raw material, in-process, and finished pouch




- Do a final check on finished pouches before they're cleared for dispatch

Process Discipline Across Teams
- Actively monitor the packing, cooking, and food preparation teams to ensure no one is cutting corners on process, timing, or method — this means being present on the floor, not checking after the fact
- Flag any deviation from SOP immediately to the relevant team and to production management

Raw Material Checks
- Check incoming raw material (fish, other ingredients) for freshness, temperature, and visible quality before it enters production
- Verify raw material is being checked properly at every stage of the production process, not only at intake

Hygiene & Plant Cleanliness
- Ensure hygiene standards are being maintained across the plant — staff practices, equipment, work surfaces, and common areas
- Conduct regular hygiene checks and audits, and correct lapses on the spot
