Role & responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in procurement of civil, finishing, MEP materials, and services for assigned real estate projects, ensuring timely availability as per project schedules.
- Obtain quotations from approved vendors, prepare comparative statements (CS), and support cost analysis for purchase decisions.
- Coordinate with Engineering, QS, Design, and Project teams to understand material requirements, BOQs, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Support vendor sourcing, vendor registration, and development of reliable suppliers to ensure quality, competitive pricing, and timely deliveries.
- Prepare purchase requisitions (PRs), purchase orders (POs), work orders, and maintain procurement documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Follow up with vendors for order confirmations, production status, dispatch schedules, and on-time delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with stores, site teams, and vendors to ensure proper receipt of materials and resolve supply-related issues.
- Assist in vendor negotiations for pricing, payment terms,



delivery schedules, and commercial conditions under the guidance of senior management.
- Verify delivery challans, invoices, and supporting documents to facilitate timely bill certification and payment processing.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, rate contracts, MIS reports, and other documentation for audit and management review.
- Monitor purchase order status, pending deliveries, and procurement schedules, highlighting delays or risks to the reporting manager.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, quality standards, statutory requirements, and approved budgets.
- Support implementation of cost-saving initiatives, alternate sourcing, and value engineering opportunities without compromising quality or project timelines.
- Build and maintain skilled relationships with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement operations.
