About The Opportunity

Our clinics empower general ophthalmologists to manage comprehensive eye care—from routine screenings to acute interventions—with full clinical autonomy and structured support.

Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose common and complex ocular conditions, and prescribe appropriate medical or surgical interventions.
- Perform minor ophthalmic procedures (e.g., lid lesion excisions, foreign body removal, tonometry, pachymetry) and refer advanced cases to specialists.
- Manage pre- and post-operative care for cataract, glaucoma, and refractive surgery patients in close coordination with surgeons.
- Utilize modern diagnostic equipment (OCT, fundus camera, visual field analyzer) to monitor disease progression and adjust treatment plans.
- Document patient records digitally using EMR platforms,



ensuring clinical accuracy and compliance with national health standards.
- Engage in community outreach programs and patient education initiatives to increase awareness and early detection of preventable blindness.

Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MBBS with MD/DNB Ophthalmology
- Valid NMC registration
- Proficiency in slit lamp examination
- Experience with fundoscopy and tonometry
- Competence in managing diabetic retinopathy, cataract, and glaucoma cases
- Working knowledge of EMR systems

Preferred
- Experience in rural or semi-urban eye care settings
- Exposure to community screening camps
- Basic surgical skills (e.g., LASIK pre-op, post-op care, minor lid procedures)
