Role Purpose

The role is responsible for strategic sourcing of manufacturing commodities, driving procurement optimization, supplier development, cost reduction, and ensuring timely development of parts while supporting supplier performance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities

Source fabrication, powder coating, press parts, moulding, fasteners, and bought-out parts.

Possess positive knowledge of CNC punching and bending processes.

Drive annualized cost savings through procurement optimization.

Execute monthly commodity rate revisions.

Develop parts within the agreed lead time and cost.

Implement PPAP activities at supplier locations.

Generate MIS reports, conduct spend analysis, activity-based costing, and zero-based costing.

Support supplier de-risking and supplier rationalization initiatives.

Conduct supplier assessment, training, and improvement activities.

Coordinate material requirements with vendors and ensure timely procurement.
