Curated JD: Is this a pure play technical/techno functional role ? : Technical role. Specific contribution expected from the role: Data Engineer with solid data modeling expertise to design and maintain Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models (CDM, LDM, PDM) aligned with business requirements. The role involves developing dimensional data models using Star and Snowflake schemas for enterprise reporting and analytics, performing data analysis, profiling, and requirement gathering to identify entities, attributes, relationships, facts, and dimensions, and creating comprehensive Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents with transformation logic and business rules. The candidate will define grain,



measures, KPIs, hierarchies, and Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD) strategies, collaborate with Data Engineers and Business Analysts to ensure accurate implementation of data models, and participate in data warehouse design across Bronze, Silver, Conformed, and Gold layers. Responsibilities also include supporting data quality initiatives through validation and reconciliation rules, contributing to metadata management, data cataloging, business glossary development, maintaining data dictionaries, lineage, and design documentation, conducting impact analysis for source and model changes, and ensuring adherence to enterprise data modeling standards and best practices. Strong SQL skills, hands-on experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or equivalent, and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams are essential.
