A Day in the Life
Within the Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) R&D; Engineering organization, the Senior Principal Enterprise Software Test Engineer provides technical leadership for the verification and validation of ACM products and new platform initiatives. This role is accountable for defining and governing scalable, secure, and compliant test strategies and validation frameworks, ensuring alignment with product requirements, long-term technology vision, and medical industry standards across Desktop, Web, and Mobile ecosystems.

The role partners closely with engineering leadership, systems engineering, product management, and cross-functional teams to drive V&V; planning, test design reviews, and quality assurance best practices. As a recognized technical authority, the Senior Principal Test Engineer mentors senior engineers and technical leads,



drives innovation in test automation and validation methodologies, reduces complexity and risk through systematic verification, and ensures that quality, testability, and regulatory compliance are validated by design within an agile, fast-changing development workplace.

- Lead the test architecture and quality strategy for Acute Care & Monitoring desktop, web, and mobile platforms.
- Own the enterprise V&V; architecture, aligned with system design, regulatory needs, and product roadmaps.
- Architect scalable automation frameworks (data‑driven, API‑level, model‑based, CI/CD‑integrated).
- Define testability architecture (Instrumentation, hooks, simulators, diagnostics).
- Serve as the V&V; authority for architecture, risk, compliance, and system‑level validation.
