Job Description MEP Engineer EED

Position: MEP Engineer – EED
Grade: 5 to 8
Experience: 5+ Years
Location: Ulundurpettai, Tamil Nadu

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage MEP construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
- Lead construction activities related to Plumbing, Electrical, Water Supply, Fire Alarm, and Fire Sprinkler Systems.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, site activities, and resource utilization to ensure projects are completed within budget and schedule.
- Review MEP drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company standards.
- Identify project risks and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit project status reports, including updates on milestones, progress, and potential risks to the Project Manager and key stakeholders.





Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering with specialization in MEP or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP project execution and site management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Required Skills
- Robust knowledge of construction methods, materials, MEP systems, and applicable regulations.
- Experience in handling plumbing, electrical, water supply, fire alarm, and sprinkler systems.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with effective communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
