Role & responsibilities
*Key Responsibilities*
*1. Resiliency Implementation & Governance*
- Own and implement Resiliency Guidelines across:
- Messaging: MQ, Solace, Kafka
- Infra: Load Balancing, DNS, Micro Segmentation, DMZ & Public Edge, Hosting, OS, Authentication Services
- Data: Relational Database MSSQL, Backup, Disaster Recovery, Point In Time Recovery, Certificate Lifecycle Management, ID Separation
- Platforms: Software Packaging, Observability, Non-Disruptive Patching, Hyper-Resiliency / Tier0 Standards
- Ensure all systems meet defined resiliency standards and design restrictions.
- Partner with assigned owners to drive compliance and closure of resiliency gaps.
*Required Skills & Experience*
- *Experience*: 5+ years in SRE, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or IT Operations
- *Technical*: Strong understanding of MQ, Kafka, Solace, MSSQL, Load Balancers, DNS, Microsegmentation,
DR/Backup, Observability tools
- *Governance*: Experience implementing enterprise guidelines, COGs, RIGs, and compliance frameworks
- *Cost*: Hands-on with cloud cost optimization, capacity planning, and environment lifecycle management
- *Soft Skills*: Stakeholder management, documentation, and ability to influence without direct authority

We are looking for an FTE to drive Resiliency, Cost Optimization, and Governance across our platform portfolio. This role will own, implement, and govern departmental RIG/COG standards to ensure high availability, resiliency, and productive resource utilization across MQ, Kafka, Solace, DB, Cloud, and Infra services.
