Key Responsibilities

- *Azure Services: VM, VNet, Storage, Load Balancer*
- *Azure AD, RBAC, Identity Management*
- *Azure Monitor, Alerts & Log Analytics*
- *Backup & DR (Recovery Services Vault)*
- *Networking basics (NSG, VPN, DNS)*

1. Azure Infrastructure Management
- Provision and manage:
- Virtual Machines (VMs), storage accounts, virtual networks
- Configure Azure resources and maintain subscriptions & resource groups
- Perform routine tasks such as deployments, upgrades, and patching

2. Monitoring & Operations
- Monitor:
- Azure resources using Azure Monitor, alerts, dashboards
- Ensure system uptime and performance optimization
- Handle daily operational tasks and incident resolution

3. Incident Management & Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot L2-level issues:
- VM failures,



network connectivity, storage issues
- Resolve incidents within SLA and coordinate with L3 for complex issues
- Perform basic RCA and documentation

4. Security & Access Management
- Configure:
- Azure Active Directory (AAD), RBAC, policies
- Implement security controls, firewall rules, and access permissions

5. Backup & DR
- Manage:
- Azure Backup, Recovery Services Vault
- Perform backup validation and restore operations

6. Collaboration & ITSM
- Work with teams (App, Network, Security, DevOps)
- Follow ITIL process (Incident, Change, Problem management)
- Update tickets in ServiceNow/JIRA

Valuable to Have
- Azure CLI / PowerShell scripting
- Exposure to DevOps basics
- Certification: AZ-104
