Role Description
The Ionm Neurophysiologist will provide intraoperative neuromonitoring support for spine and neurosurgical procedures,
working on-site in the operating room in close collaboration with surgeons and anesthesiologists. This full time, on-site role based in Mumbai includes setting up and calibrating neuromonitoring equipment, performing and interpreting EEG, SSEP, MEP, and other relevant modalities, and continuously assessing neural function throughout surgery. The neurophysiologist will document findings, communicate real-time alerts and trends to the surgical team, and contribute to intraoperative decision-making to help protect critical neural structures. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining equipment, ensuring data quality and compliance with clinical protocols, and participating in case reviews, training, and process improvement initiatives to uphold high standards of patient safety and clinical performance.
