Role Description
The Interior Designer Intern role at Eleganteriors is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore. The intern will assist senior designers with space planning, concept development, and interior layouts for ongoing projects. Daily tasks include preparing mood boards, supporting the creation of construction drawings, coordinating FF&E; selections, and helping with vendor and material research. The intern will also contribute to site visits, measurements, and documentation to ensure designs are accurately implemented. This role offers hands-on learning across the design process,



from initial planning through project execution.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate concepts into practical layouts.
- Basic understanding of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to read and support the preparation of design documentation.
- Familiarity with FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, including materials, finishes, and product sourcing.
- Recently completed a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools) and basic MS Office skills.
- Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced project environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with designers, vendors, and clients on-site.
