Job Summary

We are looking for a Supply Chain Management (SCM) Engineer to manage procurement, materialplanning, inventory, and supplier coordination for aerospace and defence cable harness manufacturing.The role ensures timely material availability while maintaining compliance with AS9100D qualityrequirements.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and procure materials as per production schedules and customer demand.

Purchase cable harness materials such as wires, connectors, contacts, backshells, heat shrinksleeves, labels, and other consumables.

Coordinate with approved suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
2. Monitor inventory and maintain optimum stock levels.
3. Track supplier performance for quality and delivery.
4. Ensure procurement from approved suppliers in accordance with AS9100D requirements.
5. Maintain material traceability, Certificates of Conformance (CoC), and procurement records.
6. Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Stores, and Logistics for smooth material flow.
7. Support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
8. Maintain procurement and inventory data in the ERP system.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

2–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Production Planning.

Experience in Cable Harness, Aerospace, Defence, or Precision Manufacturing is preferred.

Knowledge of AS9100D quality requirements and material traceability.

Positive understanding of ERP/MRP
