Role Overview

We are looking for a Geospatial Engineer Intern to support our drone mapping and GIS teams at our Hyderabad office. The intern will work under the direct supervision of the Lead Geospatial Data Engineer and must strictly follow defined workflows, coordinate system standards, documentation procedures, and quality control protocols.

This free internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to real-time drone survey projects, LiDAR data processing, photogrammetry workflows,



GIS analysis, and professional survey report preparation.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drone data processing using Pix4D, DJI Terra, QGIS, Global Mapper, and Agisoft Metashape.
- Support generation of orthomosaics, DSM, DTM, contours, slope maps, and shapefiles.
- Work with coordinate reference systems and UTM standards (especially UTM Zone 44N).
- Perform digitization, data cleaning, attribute management, and spatial corrections.
- Assist in raster and vector spatial analysis tasks.
- Support LiDAR-derived data processing (basic classification, contours, terrain outputs).
- Participate in UAV data workflows and understand field-to-final-output pipeline.
- Assist field teams during survey operations when required.
- Prepare structured Survey/Project Reports based on processed outputs.
- Maintain proper folder structures, metadata, and documentation as per company standards.
