How You’ll Help Us Connect the World
- Design, model, and validate RF communication architectures, including link budgets, modulation schemes, and interference mitigation.
- Support the design and analysis of optical communication paths, including fiber-based analog transport systems.
- Evaluate and optimize analog signal paths to ensure low-noise, high-fidelity performance across RF and optical domains.
- Create detailed block diagrams, system schematics, and workflow documentation using Microsoft Visio.
- Develop and maintain engineering spreadsheets for calculations, data analysis, and system modeling using Microsoft Excel.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, PLM, and Engineering to ensure seamless system integration.
Required Qualifications:
- BE/BTech or MTech in Engineering.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of RF system design.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience with HFC and FTTx domain knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of optical communications, including fiber optics, optical components, and analog optical transport.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio with the ability to create clear and qualified engineering diagrams.
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, data visualization, and modeling.
- Understanding of analog system design concepts and performance metrics.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Experience in database design, with the ability to structure engineering data, test results, and configuration records in relational databases.
- Experience with VBA for automating Excel workflows and building engineering tools.
- Scripting experience using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools for modeling and automation.
- Experience in designing end-to-end system architecture for communication systems.
