Job Summary

Factory Manager will be responsible for end-to-end management of the veterinary feed, premix, and blending unit, including production planning, plant operations, quality compliance, inventory control, maintenance, manpower management, safety, and statutory adherence. The role is focused on ensuring smooth, safe, and cost-effective manufacturing operations while maintaining product quality, process discipline, and on-time dispatch.

This position will also oversee plant readiness, infrastructure coordination, and support factory expansion or improvement projects as required.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations
- Manage day-to-day factory operations to ensure smooth and productive plant functioning.
- Plan and execute production schedules as per demand, material availability, and dispatch timelines.
- Supervise blending, batching, mixing, packing, and dispatch activities.
- Ensure optimum utilization of machines,



manpower, and utilities while minimizing downtime.
- Implement and maintain SOPs for consistent production and process control.

Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable GMP, hygiene, feed manufacturing, and internal quality standards.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for raw material, in-process, and finished goods testing.
- Maintain batch records, production reports, traceability records, and other statutory documentation.
- Ensure housekeeping, hygiene, and contamination control in production and storage areas.
- Support audits, inspections, and closure of corrective actions.

Inventory & Material Management
- Monitor stock levels of raw materials, additives, vitamins, minerals, and packaging materials.
- Coordinate with stores, warehouse, and procurement teams to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
- Improve material utilization, control wastage, and ensure accurate inventory
