Role Overview

The Business Development Executive – Retail Expansion will be responsible for driving Kidology’s presence across physical retail outlets and key market clusters. This role includes identifying new store opportunities, expanding the retailer and distributor network, and ensuring solid brand visibility and sales throughput at the point of sale.

Key Responsibilities

Retail & Channel Expansion
- Identify and develop new retail opportunities for Kidology products (toy stores, baby stores, book/stationery shops, modern trade, and regional chains).
- Execute retail expansion plans for assigned territories, including prospecting, pitching, and onboarding new stores and channel partners.




- Map key markets and high-potential clusters and create a pipeline of target outlets for Kidology’s expansion.
- Monitor and optimise performance of existing retail partners through regular visits, review of sales, and joint growth plans.

Sales & Relationship Management
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and distribution targets across the retail and distributor network.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store owners, buyers, and distributors to secure visibility, shelf space, and repeat orders.
- Present Kidology’s product portfolio, promotions, and schemes, and negotiate commercial terms with prospective partners.
- Ensure timely order processing, delivery, and collections in coordination with internal teams.

Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Conduct regular market visits to track brand presence, competitor activity, and consumer trends in the toys and kids category.
- Share structured MIS/reporting on new outlets added, outlet
