Job Description: IT & OT Infrastructure Lead
1. Position Overview
As an IT & OT Infrastructure Lead, position is to serve as the critical strategic bridge between traditional IT ecosystems and real-time mine-site Operational Technology (OT). Operating in a rugged, heavy-machinery setting, you will engineer, integrate, and secure the ruggedized networks that connect edge asset data from the mine face directly to enterprise analytics. Your mission is to eliminate technical silos, transforming raw machine telemetry into actionable operational intelligence that directly elevates site safety, asset lifecycle efficiency, and data-driven production yields.
2. Key Responsibilities
IT/OT Infrastructure & Networking
- Converged Architecture: Design, deploy, and maintain robust, high-availability IT and OT infrastructure across offices and active mining sites, ensuring seamless data flow between business layers and industrial environments.
- Industrial Networking: Manage, configure, and troubleshoot hardened site network infrastructure, including industrial Ethernet, wireless mesh systems,



LTE/private 5G networks, and ruggedized edge switches.
- Cybersecurity Defense: Enforce strict network segmentation, firewall configurations, and access controls between IT and OT layers to safeguard critical assets against cyber threats, adhering strictly to industrial security standards.
- Hardware Lifecycle: Oversee the deployment and lifecycle management of ruggedized computing hardware, edge gateways, servers, and telemetry units engineered to withstand extreme vibrations, dust, and temperature fluctuations.

Mining Systems & Fleet Management
- Edge Data Extraction: Interface directly with heavy machinery electronic control units (ECUs) using CANBUS and related industrial protocols (J1939, Modbus) to extract real-time engine diagnostics and operational telemetry.
- Fleet & Logistics Management: Manage and optimize the site's Fleet Management System (FMS) and Logistics Management Sys
