Job Description:
- Assign accurate ICD10CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for Emergency Department (ED) facility services
- Review ED medical records including provider documentation, charge sheets, and reports
- Ensure compliance with CMS, payer guidelines, and facility coding standards
- Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks
- Identify and resolve coding edits, denials, and discrepancies
- Adhere to HIPAA and compliance guidelines
- Work closely with QA and billing teams to ensure clean claims submission

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 14 years of hands-on ED Facility coding experience
- Mandatory certification: CPC / COC / CCS (Active)
- Robust knowledge of ED facility coding guidelines
- Familiar with modifiers, APCs, and charge capture
- Good attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment
