Role & responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities to achieve output, quality, and delivery targets.
- Ensure smooth execution of production processes across knitting (for seamless), cutting, stitching, linking, finishing, packing, and dispatch operations.
- Monitor production efficiency, line performance, machine utilization, and manpower productivity.
- Drive production planning adherence and ensure timely order execution as per customer requirements.
- Lead manpower deployment and workforce optimization to maximize operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Industrial Engineering (IE) team for line balancing, SMV improvements, and productivity enhancement initiatives.
- Coordinate with Quality team to ensure adherence to quality standards and reduction of defects, rework, and rejection.
- Ensure optimal utilization of machines, equipment, raw materials, and other manufacturing resources.
- Analyze production losses,



bottlenecks, and downtime and implement corrective actions.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor production costs and implement cost reduction measures without compromising quality and delivery commitments.
- Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and environmental standards within the production area.
- Support recent product/style development, pilot runs, and production feasibility assessments.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly production MIS reports and dashboards.
- Develop production teams through coaching, training, and performance management initiatives.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Planning, Merchandising, Stores, and HR teams for seamless plant operations.
