The Maintenance Executive is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production and utility equipment through preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance. The role focuses on maximizing machine availability, ensuring food safety compliance, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Operations
- Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities as per the maintenance schedule.
- Attend machine breakdowns promptly and restore equipment to operational condition.
- Analyze recurring machine failures and implement root cause corrective actions.
- Ensure minimum machine downtime and maximum equipment availability.
Utility Maintenance
- Ensure smooth operation of:
- Air Compressors
- Boilers
- DG Sets
- Refrigeration Systems
- Air Handling Units (AHU)
- Water Treatment Plant (WTP/RO)
- Electrical Panels and Distribution Systems
Preventive Maintenance
- Prepare and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain maintenance history and equipment records.
- Ensure timely lubrication and inspection of machinery.
- Monitor machine health and recommend preventive actions.
Breakdown Management
- Respond to equipment failures in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with production to minimize downtime.
- Prepare breakdown analysis reports.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Spare Parts Management
- Monitor critical spare parts inventory.
- Raise material requisitions for required spares.
- Coordinate with stores and procurement for timely availability.
- Optimize spare inventory to reduce maintenance costs.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures and LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) practices.
