Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sr. Buying House Merchandiser based in New Delhi. The Sr. Merchandiser will manage the complete merchandising cycle for high-fashion apparel, from initial design coordination and sample development to bulk production and delivery. Day-to-day responsibilities include communicating with international buyers, understanding seasonal requirements, preparing costings, and negotiating prices and terms. The role involves coordinating with design, sampling, production, and quality teams to ensure timelines, quality standards, and compliance requirements are met. The Sr. Merchandiser will monitor order status, resolve issues related to fabrics, trims, and production, maintain accurate documentation, and provide regular updates and reports to management and clients.

Qualifications
- Strong merchandising expertise in high-fashion apparel,



including end-to-end order management, costing, and buyer communication.
- Proficiency in vendor and supplier coordination, sampling follow-up, production tracking, and quality assurance oversight.
- Solid understanding of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and export documentation relevant to buying house operations.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills for working with buyers, factories, and internal teams.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, manage timelines, and handle multiple orders with attention to detail.
- Experience as a merchandiser in a buying house or export unit, preferably in high-fashion categories; senior-level responsibility is expected.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Design, Apparel Production, Business, or a related field.
