Join us as an Engineering Manager VP at Barclays, where you will spearhead the evolution of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines, driving innovation and operational excellence. To be successful as an Engineering Manager VP, you should have experience with:
- Act as a key contributor to technology strategy, roadmap planning and architectural decisions for Salesforce-led initiatives.
- Partner closely with Platform Architects, Product Owners and Business Stakeholders to translate business outcomes into scalable, secure Salesforce solutions.
- Own end-to-end delivery of Salesforce programmes, ensuring high-quality, resilient and performant solutions.
- Establish and enforce engineering best practices including coding standards, CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing and release management.




- Drive continuous improvement through technical debt management, refactoring strategies and platform optimisation.
- Review solution designs and code to ensure compliance with security, performance, scalability and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of Salesforce engineers, technical leads and administrators.
- Support hiring and onboarding of Salesforce talent aligned to long-term platform needs.
- Ensure Salesforce implementations comply with enterprise governance, data privacy, security and risk frameworks.
- Collaborate with Risk, Security and Compliance teams to address audits, controls, vulnerabilities and platform risks.
- Proactively identify and mitigate delivery, technical and operational risks.
- Serve as a trusted engineering partner to senior stakeholders, clearly communicating technical trade-offs and delivery status.
